This edit (showing the raw greenscreen plates) was substantially revised from the original script. In that version, the camera started on Joe and pulled back through the PPD, through the Test Chamber, and through the Control Room to reveal Joe's wife Irene. But the pace of that approach was too slow, and this version was developed instead. The flashes of black are intentional, and help create a more frantic feeling. They also spread the cuts out more. |
